The most reasonable method of transferring to the resort is to take a taxi from the airport to Ovcha Kupel in Sofia and board the state run coach service to Bansko, costing only 16 leva (8 Euro) each way.

The journey take just over two hours and involves a few stops en-route to allow for comfort breaks and refreshments.

Coaches run from 7am to 5.30pm daily.

The timetable is as follows:- 7:00, 9:20 except Tuesday, 10:30, 11:50 except Sunday, 13:05, 13:55, 14:30, 14:40, 15:10, 15:28 except Tuesday, 15:55, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30.
