How to get there
Cagliari is the nearest airport, about 35-40 minutes drive, made easier by a new road that bypasses the coast. Olbia and Alghero are the other 2 international airports to the north, about 2-2.5 hours drive. The drive from Olbia takes in the scenic east coast, the one from alghero is along a motorway.
Alternatively there are ferries to Sardinia from genoa, Tuscany, Rome or from France.
