There are 2 local airlines that fly into Placencia airstrip from Belize International and Belize City Municipal airports many times a day.

If you decide to fly I strongly recommend that you make your local flight reservations through my friend Lilia.

She works at the international airport and will meet you and expedite your passage to the local flight.

She does not charge extra as they get a % from the local airlines and you can pay her when you reach Belize or by credit card when you make the reservation.

We are in touch on the day of your arrival so I know, for sure, what time to send a taxi to the Placencia airstrip for you.

Also, if your plane is early or late they will be right there to change your reservation to an earlier or later flight.

Van transfers and shuttles are available from several operators, including Lilia.

Vehicles can be rented at International airport and in Placencia.

There are several buses a day that run from Belize City to Placencia.
