How to get there
Most guests rent a car in Anchorage and drive to Anchor Point. It is a scenic 200 miles or 4 hour drive, with lots of things to see and do on the way. Alternately, guests can take a commuter flight from Anchorage to Homer (15 minutes away) or Kenai (90 minutes away), and pick up a rental car.

Getting around
The best way to get around on the Kenai Peninsula, especially in the Anchor Point area, is by car. Bus service is very limited and the passenger train does not operate in the area. Taxi service is available out of Homer. Having said that, great sightseeing tours are available by boat and by air.
