How to get there
The most popular flights are to Biarritz from Stansted and London Gatwick to Bordeaux. Cityjet has recently stopped flights to Pau, so you would need to change flights in Paris. Ryanair now flies direct to Lourdes, which is about 1.5 hours drive from here. The ferry from Bilbao to Portsmouth is a great alternative to the northern ferry ports.

Getting around
The best way to get around is by car, either locally or further afield. If you wish to travel to cities or larger towns, you can travel by bus from Hagetmau (5 minutes drive from Pyron) to Mont de Marsan and Dax or from Saint Sever (10 minutes from Pyron) to Dax. You can take the train from Mont de Marsan (25 minutes from here by car) to cities such as Bordeaux or Agen.
