Our closest airport is Porto, from there it is easy to hire a car and the drive to the villa takes less than two hours. Lisbon airport is also an option but takes up to three hours. There is also a fast one stop train that takes an hour and a half to Coimbra where there is car hire or transport can be arranged. The motorways in Portugal are excellent and generally clear, we advise hiring a car to get the most from your visit although there are local trains and buses.
