Almeria airport is a 30 minute drive from the apartment. We provide comprehensive directions for our visitors who are hiring a car. We can arrange for an airport pick-up and/or drop-off for those without a car from a local taxi driver at a fixed price (€45). Alternatively, the airport bus will take you to Almeria bus/train station, from which you can take one of the frequent buses to Roquetas de Mar.

The train station links Almeria to Granada and beyond, while Almeria port has daily ferries to several Spanish and Moroccan cities.

For those with a car, the Mediterranean motorway is only 10 minutes drive away and the apartment is a good base for exploring the many attractions in the province, including the Sierra Nevada mountains and Cabo de Gata natural park.

For those without a car, there are many bars, restaurants and shops within 10 minutes walk. The port, castle, aquarium and water park are also nearby, and there are regular buses to the city of Almeria. Several operators also run tours from Roquetas de Mar to attractions across the province.
