How to get there
From Falcone Borsellino airport to the central railway station:
-By shuttle bus called Prestia & Comandè (departures every 30 minutes);
From Central Railway Station (on Piazza Giulio Cesare) on foot:
* Turn right onto Via Lincoln
* Turn left onto Corso dei Mille
* Continue onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi
* At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Via D'Aragona/Piazza S. Carlo
* Turn right onto Vicolo S. Carlo up to number 28

Getting around
WARNING: Anyone who is planning to drive in Palermo's historic centre needs to be aware of Restricted Traffic Areas, or Zona Traffico Limitato in Italian, abbreviated to ZTL. The old town centre has set up these limited traffic zones in order to reduce congestion and pollution, and there are significant fines for driving into one of these zones unauthorized. No cars without permits can be allowed in this area. So, If you are planning on driving in the historic centre of Palermo, make sure you inform me about that, so I can tell you where to take your 5-euro daily entrance ticket and how to activate it in order to get in the city centre without getting fined.
