How to get there
Faro airport is 45 mins away, with daily flights from all over Europe. Budget flights available daily from most UK airports to Faro. Car hire is not essential, but recommended as there is so much to explore in the Region. Car hire easily available from airport. We recommend that you book this in advance. We can arrange taxi transfers for you with our property management company.

Getting around
The town centre of Alvor is a 20-30 min walk away or 5 min drive. Alvor is a quaint fishing village, but boasts a great selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to suit all ages and tastes. A taxi into town will cost approx €5. Buses also available from the main road. There are shops, a new, Intermarche supermarket, 10 min walk, cafes, bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk if you don't fancy popping into town.
