It is advisable to have a car as the bus service is not a direct route. Drive north from Inverness to the Black Isle on the A9 crossing the Kessock Bridge, and look out for signs to Munlochy to your right. Follow the road to a T junction and turn right towards Cromarty. The road is very scenic and there is a pull in on the right overlooking Munlochy Bay and excellent place to get your binoculars out and take in the views. Arriving in Avoch, look out for Long Road on the right (just after the 20mph signs) which takes you down to the shore. Turn right onto Henrietta street and Tanera More is number 45!! YOu can park on the grass opposite or down the side of the cottage. All in all about 20 minute from Inverness. If you are travelling by train, the station is situated in the heart of Inverness beside Falcon Square.If you are travelling by bus the bus terminal is into Faraline car park situated beside the train station.
