Once in Staithes, if you drive down the bank (road ) and follow it till you meet the Cod and lobster public house, immediately to your right is the Staithes Studio Gallery. Driftwood cottage is next door to the gallery.

Opposite the gallery is a landing stage for the slipway into the bay. You can load and offload here space permitting, but you must then take your vehicle to the Bank Top car park as you would get a parking ticket if left there.

Bank Top car park is at the head of the village, following the road round passing The Captain Cook pub. There are 2 areas designated for local residents which are clearly marked and in which our permit is invalid.
