How to get there
There is few ways how to reach Korčula island.It depend are you coming from Split or Dubrovnik port,or you are coming from Pelješac.Korcula is well connected to the Croatian mainland and Dalmatian coast, especially in the summer months. Korcula nearest airport is Dubrovnik Airport though Split Airport is convenient to reach Korcula too. If you decide to fly to Split, the best option to come to Korcula is by ferry catamaran Split - Korcula - Split - via Hvar - (passenger only service). It is speedy boat that takes you to Korcula Town in just few hours. If you decide to fly to Dubrovnik, try to book the fight which arrives before 1pm at Dubrovnik Airport. This will give you enought time to catch a bus that runs every day from Dubrovnik to Korcula.

In the village there is bus station where you can take the bus to Korčula old town.From Korčula town you can take bus to Dubrovnik,and also catamaran to Dubrovnik. There are also catamarans for island Hvar,island Brač, Split and Makarska where you can go to one day trip. There is also in Korčula boats for go to one day trip to Badija island and Mljet Island.
