By Road to Salles:Then make your way from Pau or Tarbes airtpo to Lourdes (signposted clearly). Leaving Lourdes head towards Argeles-Gazost and just as you reach the town you would turn right up the hill to arrive in Salles (13kms from Lourdes).

Getting around
A traditional Pyrenean mountain village. - Le Belvedere is a significant part of the heritage of the 11th century village of Salles. At the heart of village is the monastry which is still in use today, and aside from the few new residences, much of the village has remained unchanged for centuries. Like many of the Pyrenean mountain villages, Salles is linked to nearby villages via a network of walk trails that cut through forests, crop fields and streams and date back hundreds of years... well worth exploring.
