Approximate travelling time from Durban: 3 hours 30 minutes.

If you have a GPS: Look up “Kuleni Game Park, Hluhluwe”, then follow the directions below from there.

• At “Kuleni Game Park' sign, turn left down the dirt road towards the gate into Kuleni Nature Park.

• Go through the Kuleni gate turn right and stop at the boom gate. Tell the guard you are going through to Chumbi Bush House. You will be required to fill in the register. It is a 10-minute drive through the Game Park to Chumbi Bush House.

• Now the adventure starts! You are entering a nature reserve – Look out for wildlife!

• The road splits after the gate, Go straight after the boom gate (2nd road from right). Follow the road most travelled. The road wiggles and winds quite a bit. Do not enter any of the roads with lodge names at the entrance to them.

• You will come to a fork, follow the sign “lodges” to the left.

• You will eventually start following a fence line, which will be on your right-hand side.

• The road goes down a dip and up the other side. At the top of the hill Turn left following the signs to Chumbi.

• Go For about 100m then take the first road that goes to the right.

• The houses are at the end of this road: Chumbi Bush House on the left
