How to get there
Although the expression " Mid Wales" conjures up a vision of remoteness, our area is incredibly accessible with Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham all under 90 minutes drive away. We are well connected to the motorway network via the M6 and M54.
Shrewsbury is about half an hour away with Chester and Telford 45 minutes away. The rail network goes through Welshpool with an hourly service from Birmingham at peak times. We are happy to arrange taxis for your group.

Getting around
In a rural area the bus services are I frequent but they are generally reliable. Buses to Welshpool and Oswestry stop by request at the entrance to the estate about 100 yards from the cottage. A taxi to Welshpool train station is about 7 minute drive and costs about £5. There is a train service which takes you the length of the beautiful Cambrian coast or you can venture inland connecting to the Heart of Wales line.
