How to get there

Getting to La Stella di Budapest

From Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport:

By Taxi: An official taxi will cost you around €22 and take around 30 minutes, 17 km (prices may be higher and journey times longer at peak times).

Bus 100E (Airport Shuttle) operates every 30 minutes to the centre (Deak Ferenc Square), from 05:00 to 00:30 hours from the airport.

You will have to buy a special ticket priced at 900 HUF (€ 3.00). Travel time between the airport and metro station Deak Ferenc Square is 35 minutes.

From Deak Ferenc Square take M2 (red metro line) to Blaha Lujza ter and it's a 10 minutes walk from there.

From Nyugati Railway Station:

Take Tramcar 4 or 6 towards Wesselenyi utca for 3 stops and walk 300m on Wesselenyi utca till Csengery utca.

From Keleti Railway Station:

Take TrollyBus 76 for 4 stops, get off at Rozsa utca and walk 400m on Wesselenyi utca till Csengery utca.

You can also take M2 Metro - one stop till Blaha Lujza Ter and take Tramcar 4 or 6 one stop till Wesselenyi utca and walk 300m on Wesselenyi utca till Csengery utca.

Are you coming by car?

There is payed 3 hours parking in the street, free after 6PM and weekends. It's also a guarded parking near to the apartment, approximately €10 for the day.

Getting around

My home is centrally located in the heart of Budapest. You can walk to most major attractions, but if you prefer to use public transit, there is a non-stop tram line 4/6 running along the Grand Boulevard, which can be reached within 300m from the property. Night and weekend parking are free of charge.
