How to get there
We provide a detailed set of instructions along with maps direct to you, or you can download it on our website. In summary, it is super simple. As Akumal (proper) is very small, there is only 1 road, so it is impossible to be get lost. The Cancun airport is directly off the highway 307, which you follow until you take the Akumal exit. You then aim for the beach, and follow the road until it almost ends. It is that simple.

Getting around
Akumal is in the middle of the Mayan Riviera, so we are close to everything. If you want to explore, then we do recommend a car as driving is very easy. But if you just want to chill, then you don't really need. Taxis are abundant, and we do have a great little van transportation system, called 'Collectivios'.
