How to get there
OPTIONS:
Fly into Belize City International and take a domestic airline: Tropic or Maya Island Air. You can connect right at the main airport. Flight is about 25-30 minutes. (See getting around for options once you arrive at the house)
Rent a car: Agencies are located at the International Airport: Hertz, Budget, Avis plus local agencies. The drive is lovely! About 3-4 hours.
Shuttle service: There is a new service call Placencia Resorts Airport Shuttle Service. We have not tried it personally, but it's an option.
The house does not have an official address... It's known locally as "the Yellow House." If driving yourself, make a right turn down a gravel road just after Moorings (marina). Drive until you see the house on the left!

Getting around
You can rent a car at the Belize City International Airport and use that to drive to the house (3-4 very scenic hours on the road). Park in our gated yard and you are good to go for all your advdentures! If you fly down to Placencia via Tropic or Maya Island Air, you can arrange a car rental beforehand or once you arrive (Hertz, Budget are available). OR, you can forego a car and rent a golf cart to zip around the peninsula. In addition, there are pretty good taxi services (see the "House Book" on site for phone numbers). We have two bikes in the utility room if you'd like to combine sightseeing with exercise!
