How to reach Tangkahan and Mountain View Cottages
Most people arrive in Sumatra by airplane in MEDAN.
The new Airport Kuala Namu MEDAN is situated about 35 km Northeast of the city. The old Polonia Airport is closed.

If you want to go from MEDAN to Tangkahan you have to go first to Pinang Baris Station. Currently this is possible by public taxi or a private taxi. From the station you take public bus Pembangunan Semesta (2 times daily:10.00 AM and 12.00 AM)

Another option is to use an aircon car (called taxi) with a driver and comfortable seats. Depary Adventure Transport service will pick up you from Airport or hotel in Medan by:
I.Toyota Kijang Inova/7 seater = IRD 700.000,-
II.Minibus Isuzu Elf/11 seater = IRD 850.000,-
