How to get there
The apartment is 25 minutes from Faro airport. If you can get a better flight deal, then 2 hours will take you from Seville or Lisbon airports.
I would always recommend hiring a car, as even if you only use it to and from Faro, the cost would be comparable to a return taxi fare (www.car4fun.pt ).
All the main budget airlines fly into Portugal from both Britain and Ireland. I've found that generally, you won't do better than ryanair. When not in a hurry to arrive at the apartment, a short taxi ride will take you to the bus depot in Faro city where you can travel onward by bus at quarter the cost of a taxi.

Getting around
If you like to travel then a car would be the preferred option. Regular bus tours are catered for and may be booked at reception. Bus service to the oldtown is available from the front entrance of the complex every half an hour and takes about 4 minutes. The cost is about €1.00. Train station is about 3 miles from complex where you can access Faro,Villamoura and all places on the Algarve. You may also travel to Lisbon or Porto if you desire.
