By plane to Kerry Airport (1 hour) or to Cork (2 hours). Ferries from Fishguard or Pembroke dock to Rosslare. Rosslare is 4 hours away by car and Cork just under 2 hours. Car hire available at all airports

Getting around
Due to the rural location of Seal Rock Cottage, it is essential to have a car. Sneem is the nearest town which is about a 15 minute drive and Kenmare is about a 20 minute drive.Car hire is available at all the airports. There is a local taxi service which will also arrange tours of the area - more details are available on request. There is a train station at Killarney with links to Dublin. A bus service runs from Kenmare to Cork City.
