How to get there
If you arrive by plane, reach the Ursino castle area from the airport is really simple. By taxi the ride costs 20 € up to 4 people and you will be in place in 10 min. You can also take the bus (Alibus) and get to Piazza Duomo. A few steps and you have arrived there.
From the train station take a bus that brings you to Via Garibaldi and Piazza Borsellino.
If you come by car from the highway just follow the direction Catania Airport-Center and ask for the Piazza Frederick of Swabia (Castello Ursino)

Getting around
