FROM NORTH A1

Travel down the A1 past Torness Power Station. At the Pease Bay round about take the 3rd exit continuing along the A1. Ignore the first turn off to left to Coldingham, continue along the A1. You will go through a few roadside villages shortly after Grantshouse take the B6438 (turning left) signposted to Coldingham. Take the 2nd turning on the right (you will have passed some farm buildings on your right and just started to travel downhill). This is Whitfield, go to the very last two houses on the right hand side and it is the first red sand stone cottage of the two. Parking in the two parking spaces beside the cottage or beside the wooden fence.

FROM SOUTH A1

Travel up the A1 continuing past Berwick upon tweed. You will pass a sign for Ayton on the left and Eyemouth on the right continue on the A1 until signpost to Coldingham B6438 (turning right). Take the 2nd turning on the right (you will have passed some farm buildings on your right and just started to travel downhill). This is Whitfield, go to the very last two houses on the right hand side and it is the first red sand stone cottage of the two. Parking in the two parking spaces beside the cottage or beside the wooden fence.
