From Roissy CDG airport

Taxi fare is now fixed by the government at 55 eurs to get to our flat enem if the meter shows more. Just stay in the Q that moves pretty fast and don’t accept offers from other sources.

 - RER Train: RER/CDG Roissy ... One way ticket cost about 9.75 eurs/adult.....Travel time 50 mins, train interval 10-15 mins weekdays...So take the RER line B (direction Paris) and alight at Denfert Rochereau, then change to Metro line 6.

 

Air France Bus...Travel time 45 - 60mins,  cost 17.50 eurs per trip per person.   AirFrance bus stops at Montparnasse. Don't take Roissy Bus as it stops at Opera which is further and less convenient.

So take the Air France Bus and alight at Montparnasse and from there you may take the public bus no 58 (buy one ticket on the bus, cost 2€) to stop at Des Plantes Alesia (just 5 stops from Gare Montparnasse) then walk 15-20 mins to the flat.

Taxi fare from Orly to my flat is a fixed fare of 30-35 eurs.

 

Note - advice ..... public transport involving train/metro transfers can be a nuisance if you have heavy or many baggages as there are steps to negotiate. Do not accept help from strangers at the stations and watch your bags.  Do not put wallets behind your pants. PICK POCKETS are eminent especially at the railway-metro stations.
