There are local buses that can take you all the way to our closest main city La Libertad, an old seaport buited in the 1800's, at La libertad you can by fresh Red Snapper, Maji Maji, shrimps, lobsters and all kind of local seafood at the main pier. The famous surfing Rocky Piont is right on the shores of La libertad. There are lots of restaurants, local music and a bunch of frendly local people willing to give you a frendly smile. On the way to La libertad you will be able to see gorgeous landscapes, corn , watermelon, mangos fields and many tropical fruits.
