How to get there
There are 3 possible ways to transfer from Maputo:
1) a 20 minute chartered flight to the Machangulo Private Nature Reserve's landing strip, or a helicopter direct to the villa
2) a 90 minute boat transfer across Maputo bay
3) a 4hr+ rugged 4x4 drive through the Maputo Special Reserve and Machangulo Private Nature Reserve

Getting around
The property is very remote with no other properties or commercial activity within several kilometres. If guests do wish to visit Santa Maria, the local village then a 4x4 vehicle is necessary to negotiate the soft sand tracks. Local 4x4 taxi services can be booked.
