How to get there
The easiest way to get to the apartment is by using a car. Getting there by public transport could easily double the travel time.
The closest airport is Perugia, which is about 90 minutes away. However, this small airport is only serviced by intra-European low-cost airlines like Ryanair and Wizzair. The airport that is the most convenient, cheapest and has the biggest capacity/most flights is Rome Fiumicino airport. This airport probably has the best international flight connections in Italy. It is located 226 km's away and it takes just under two and a half hours to drive from there, along the west coast of Italy.
Florence airport is 124 km's away and it takes just over 90 minutes to drive from there, as long as you have a GPS or can trust the confusing signposting around the airport. Pisa airport is just over two hours away.
Parking: A permit for one car comes with the apartment. With this permit, one car park anywhere where residents can park in designated areas and these areas operate on a first come, first served basis.

Getting around
Using a car is the most convenient. There's a bus stop 100 meters from the apartment but buses don't run very frequently. The nearest train station is just over 15 minutes away (by car). It's also possible to rent a car with a driver. Taxis don't exist. It's possible to bike to several wineries and nearby hamlets, using either conventional bikes or eBikes.
