How to get there
Torrox is well served by frequent buses. There is a shuttle bus to and from the beach and takes about 10 minutes (bus timetables on request). Malaga Airport is 45 minutes by car from Torrox. Alternatively, there is a shuttle from the airport to the bus station in Malaga from where you can take a bus direct to the village.

Getting around
There is a good bus service down to the beach direct from the village. Taxis are available late at night from the Costa to the village. It is also a lovely walk down by the Rio Torrox to the beach. Buses go from the village to Malaga where there is a train station which takes you to major cities all over Spain. It is possible to visit Torrox without a car but if you wish to explore the surrounding national parks and other areas of interest, it is useful to have a car.
