TRAVEL TIPS

Irwan will either pick you up at Bukit Lawang bus station (let us know you departure time with the public bus in medan/binjai), or help book a shared/private taxi from their office in Bukit Lawang.

We don't really recommend public bus from medan, as some of our guests have experienced being scammed by road mafia to pay like idr 50 -100k/person as the bus fare, while the (real) driver will (surely) charge you the real fare (idr 30k/person) once you're arrived in Bukit Lawang. This always happens to tourists. Also the bus often with loud music. Somehow if you insist on having a local public bus experience you certainly can try it.
