Driving Directions from Edinburgh
 Take A90 over the Forth Road Bridge on to the M90.
At junction 8 take the A91 towards St Andrews.
Follow A91 to St Andrews.
At St Andrews at the 1st roundabout take 2nd exit for town centre.
At next roundabout take 1st exit onto North Street.
Continue along North Street to Cathedral and follow the road round to the right. 
At mini roundabout take 1st exit A917 for Crail.

Train
St Andrews is not on the train line. The nearest station is Leuchars on main line from London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen (20-minutes away from Fairmont St. Andrews). St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by bus from Leuchars.
Bus
Approximately a 15-minute journey from the train station to St Andrews. 2 to 3 buses per hour between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and less frequently at other times.
If you get lost a good landmark is the Byre Theatre (even though it is no longer functioning as a theatre), we are a few hundred metres past the Byre on the same side
