How to get there
You can get to Brides-les-Bains by plane, train or self -drive :
The four closest Airports are : Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Grenoble. From the airport you can either hire a car and self drive or arrange an airport transfer. We can provide information on both shared and private transfers
By train:
By Eurostar from London St.Pancras to Moutiers International Railway Station - Brides is just a short taxi drive away from the station
Road: Paris 388 miles. Brussels 547 miles. London 625 miles.
Motorway and dual carriage way to Moutiers, follow Vallée de Bozel/Méribel/Courchevel, Brides-les-Bains is approx. 4 miles away.
We have driven from Calais many times and the trip takes between 8 - 9 hours depending on traffic and stops. The drive can be done in one day but if you prefer to stop overnight on your way we can advice on good places to stop.
Our top-tip for self drivers is to get an 'automatic pass' for the French toll roads which saves time - we can tell you how to get one!

Getting around
A car is helpful, but not at all essential in ski season as the gondola is just 600m away; a few minutes walk or there is a ski bus which runs from the residence and another from the bottom of the drive which go directly to the gondola. All the amenities of Bride Les Bain are less than a 5 minute walk. If you have a car there is a 'Super U' supermarket a few minutes away on the Moutiers road which is very good value. We would recommend a car if you stay in the summer in order to make the most of walking opportunities and other actities.
