How to get there

Dale is about 25 mins drive from Haverfordwest and 20 minutes from Milford Haven, both of which have train stations. It takes about 4.5 hours from London (M4, A48 and A40) and 3.5 hours from Birmingham (M5, M50, M4, A48, A40). When passing Cardiff on the M4 Junction 32 you are approx 2 hours away. From the end of the M4 near Llanelli follow signs to Carmarthen A48 then St. Clears A40 and then take the A40 to Haverfordwest. Follow sign for Town Centre. Go through the town centre (one way system) up the hill and at the top of hill fork right at traffic lights then fork next left. Go past Tesco (on your left) and turn left just before the Bellevue pub, signposted Dale B4327 (Dale road). Continue for 12 miles - there is 1 left turn but it is signposted - straight to Dale. Dale has a one-way system. As you go into Dale, drive along the seafront past the Boathouse Café and Shop, past the Griffin Inn then take the first right after the pub. We are the first detached blue house on the left, opposite the Post House.

Getting around

I recommend you have a car, but there is a great little bus service that operates the whole of the coastal path and into town Cycling is a great way to see the scenery. Kayaking can be a wonderful way to see the coast. But walking is my preferred method of transport to see the local beaches and coastal path
