The M6 is about 20 minutes away and Newcastle is 1 hour 15 minutes..
Lazonby station is on the Settle-Carlisle line and is 5 miles from the cottage. Penrith station is on the main West Coast line from London to Scotland and is about 20 minutes drive away

Getting around
There are many walks from the cottage and we have lots of information in the cottage. We're keen walkers and are happy to chat. This is a popular cycling route and the C2C runs nearby. There are no buses. Taxis can be used from Penrith station.
