Driving from Picton takes around 2 hours.
Leaving Picton you drive south – travel through Blenheim following signs to Christchurch.
You will travel through Seddon, Ward, Kekerengu (The store there is a great place to stop for a coffee) and go over the Clarence River.
You will pass the iconic Nin's Bin, Mangamaunu (great surf break) and after this you will then cross the Hapuku River.
Just after the Hapuku River Bridge you take the first left onto Lover's Lane. (it can be quite hard to see the turn-off as the signpost keeps going missing!) Just follow this road all the way down until it hits Hapuku Road.
Turn right onto Hapuku Road – keep going and you will see us on the right.
If you miss the turn-off to Lover's Lane – take the 3rd left onto Factory Road, over the railway line, then right into Hapuku Road.
Driving from Christchurch takes around 2 ½ hours.
Leaving Christchurch, you drive north following the signs to Picton.
Once you get to Kaikoura stay on the main road north out of the town.
Follow Beach Road for 5 minutes – passing restaurants, Motels, Mitre 10 and New World.
Turn right onto Old Beach Road just after the Kaikoura Building Centre and timber yard instead of following the main road away from the coast. You will see a Fish and Chip shop on the corner with a big fish on top.
Follow Old Beach Road for 5 minutes until you get to a T-intersection which is Factory Road.
Turn right over the railway line, right again onto Hapuku Road and you can't miss us on the right.

Alternatively you could carry straight on State Highway 1, turn right onto Factory Road, over the railway line, right into Hapuku Road and we are on the right.
Please note that our address was changed 2 years ago from 5 Old Beach Road to 5 Hapuku Road, however despite lots of notifications Google Maps still show it as Old Beach Road as below. If you are using a GPS you will need to be careful you end up at the Hapuku end of Old Beach Road not the Kaikoura end.
