How to get there
From the Airport one should decide to either use the Public Transport or else take a Taxi to Cirkewwa (ferry terminal to cross over to Gozo). By bus it would take 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive, whist by Taxi approx. 40 mins. If needed, The owner would be waiting at the Ferry Terminal in Gozo to take you to the Apartment, for a small fee.

Getting around
Xlendi was a fishing village, now a small popular resort. It is a beautiful bay which was, in the 19th. century reserved only for women's bathing. Joe's apartment is very comfortable and ideally located. The restaurants across the bay, which you can see from your bedroom, are accessible by foot. Groceries shopping can be done nearby at a well stocked 'Lidl' supermarket in Victoria. It is accessible from Xlendi by bus (#330 and #306) or by car. The bus stop is a mere 5 minutes walk (downhill) from Joe's apartment. We visited during the 'Gozitan' winter and loved this place and the convenience of the location. We surmised that in summer this must be paradise. A big Thank you to Joe: You have been an excellent host.
