How to get there
Upon entering Freshwater East you need to take a right turn down Trewent Hill heading for the beach. Approx 100 metres down the hill take a right turn between two bungalows and then follow the private lane to the left to the very bottom of the lane where you will find Portclew Cottage.

Getting around
You will need a car to get around but there is also a bus called the coastal cruiser which comes through the village, many walkers use this to enjoy the coastal path. In Lamphey there is also a small train station.
