How to get there
The airport you would fly into for Benalmádena is Malaga which is a 20 minute drive from Benalmadena.
Public transport is easily accessible from the airport. There is a taxi rank right outside with an approximate cost of about €30 one way for up to 4 people. Or you can get the train to Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel €3 per person one way and then a taxi to the property which will cost about €10, again for up to 4 people. The train timetable can easily be found on the internet.
It is a 20 minute walk from the train station in Benalmadena to the apartment.

Getting around
Location wise La Quinta couldn´t be better. For those who know the area it is opposite the beautiful Paloma Park. Two minutes walk away you are on the promenade and at the beach. An easy walk along this prom (about 10 minutes) will bring you to Puerto Marina which is bustling with bars, restaurants, boat trips. The local bus service is cheap and reliable and the bus stops are very close by. You can travel to Arroyo (local town area 15-20 minutes walk away) Benalmádena Pueblo, typical Spanish village. Mijas, lovely place and well worth a visit. Fuengirola or Malaga. There will be details on all these and other places to visit in the apartment. You do not need a car to stay here.
