How to get there
There is a taxi stand at the railway station and taxis and hire cars are available at the airport. There is a good bus service from the railway station. A tram operates between the airport and York Place (more information can be found on the Edinburgh Trams website), with a bus service from there to Leith (route information is available from the Lothian buses website). A bus service also operates from the airport.

Bus route 22 runs from South Gyle via Princes Street and Leith Walk to the Shore and onto Ocean terminal. Bus route 16 runs from Colinton via Princes Street and Leith Walk to Bernard Street and onto Ocean Terminal. Bus route No 35 runs from Edinburgh Airport via High Street to the Shore and onto Ocean terminal. Bus route 36 runs from Colinton via Stockbridge to the Shore and onto Ocean terminal. Bus route 22N, the night bus, operates through the night hourly but with enhanced frequency on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
