We are only 1 hour and thirty five minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport following the Carrettera Pacífica Fernández Oreamuno/Costanera Sur/Route 34 and the Autopista José María Castro Madrizon on the Costanera Sur Autopista (Route 34) The drive is scenic and the roads are all well maintained (paved). There are a few toll booths which speed you through the scenic drive with each toll costing about $1 US each. Have local currency available since the exchange rate for the tolls will favor the local currency (Colones).
