Carcassonne airport is only ten minutes from the house with Ryanair flying in from various European destinations including London Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Dublin, Porto, Brussels Charleroi.
Other airports within an hour drive from Carcassonne include Toulouse, Perpignan, Beziers and slightly further are Montpellier, Nimes, Girona (Spain).
Carcassonne train station is a 15 minute walk from the house and we offer a free pick up from the train station. There are regular trains to all major cities throughout France.
If arriving by car there is lots of free car parking in local streets close to the house as well as several large car parks some free and some paid.

Getting around
Most attractions are within easy walking distance of the house, however there are also regular buses around Carcassonne including Lake Cavayere with water park and treetop adventure park. If wanting to visit other cities such as Toulouse, Narbonne, Perpignan there are regular trains. Various tours available to visit sites such as Cathar castles, abbeys.
