How to get there
Ferry ports are an hour and half away: St Malo or Caen Ouistreham, Cherbourg is 2 hours, Calais is around 4 and half hours. Rennes airport is an hour and a half, Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport is 3 and half hours. Parking is on site at the cottage for one car and free parking is 50m away. Whilst there are buses through the town this is rural France and therefore not frequent. Direct trains to Montparnasse station, Paris can be taken from Vire station 20 minutes from the cottage.

Getting around
There are numerous walking and cycling routes direct from the cottage. Access to the voie verte national cycle routes are nearby at the bottom of the hill. 40km to the Mont St Michel, 20 minutes to a large Wednesday market
