How to get there
You can fly to 4 major airports. From the UK and Ireland, flights are cheapest to Bucharest which is a 3 hour drive. You can hire a car or we can order a taxi to pick you up which costs approx 80 euro for 4 people. It is possible to get a direct bus from Bucharest airport or centre to Razgrad and we are 30 minutes from there.
Or fly to Varna which is a 2 hour drive to the east. a lovely old city on the Black Sea.
Also on the Black Sea is Bourgas which is a 3 hour drive. Pomorie is a nice seaside town for a stopover, about a 10 minute drive from Bourgas airport.
Or fly to the capital Sofia and spend a day or two exploring there. Hire a car or take a bus or train to Popovo which is 8km from us. The train and bus take 5 hours but are an interesting trip. Stop off in the old city of Veliko Tarnovo on the way.

Getting around
There are several buses to Popovo, the nearest town, 8km away. Popovo also has a train station. We also have several adult bikes available to borrow. For excursions to local towns and historic sites, a car is very useful. If you fly to Bucharest, we can recommend a good company in Ruse for car hire. There are many companies available in Sofia.
