How to get there
Dover cross-channel ferry port is a 15/20 minute drive away with ferries to and from Calais and Dunkirk. The Eurotunnel terminal near Folkestone is just 35 minutes away by car. There are regular train services from London to Deal including the high speed rail link from St Pancras in just 1 hour and 20 minutes. The cottage is a short, five minute walk from Deal train station or a very short taxi ride. Deal is about 1.5-2 hour drive from London using either the M2/A2 or the M20. There is free on street parking limited to 2 hours with no return Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. St Georges car park is around the corner and charges approximately £1 an hour or £7.50 for the day.

Getting around
If you are without a car then we are a five minute walk from the train station. There is plenty to explore on foot in Deal itself. Should you wish to travel further then there is a good public transport system plus taxis. There is free on street parking outside and on the surrounding streets.
