Only 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik to Borgarnes west and north on Route 1. Continuing on Route 1 drive 15 minutes further north of Borgarnes, across bridge on river GLJUFURÁ, past OLIS petrolstation / truckstop and further 500 meters until you turn right at sign MUNAÐARNES. Drive past a couple of containers and turn left before entering gate at house. Drive until 5 cottages appear and your accomodation is the third/middle one. Drive past small house by the road ( deerhorns on wall !! ) and turn left at sign ARHVAMMUR. You have arrived at your cottage.
