Getting around
From the villa, you can go walking to : -the center of Forcalquier ( 5 to 10 minutes walk ) -the country side : for instance Rocher des mourres ( less than one hour walk ) You can also take the bus in the city center ( 10 minutes walk ) , and from there connect to Manosque or to large cities like Marseille, Aix en provence , Avignon Or take a car you can make a lot of visits at less than one hour drive : Couvent de Salagon and its ethno-botanic exhibitions, Rustrel and its colored canyons ( where ocre used to come from ), Ganagoby monastery and its wonderfull view on durance valley, lac Esparron de Verdon where you can swim and sail, picturesque Banon village and its famous cheese nestled in a chestnut leaf and many other places
