How to get there
There is plenty of parking within 200 metres of the apartment in a safe environment. Alternatively the train from Paris takes around 2-2.5 hours. Bayeux is approximately a 30 minute drive from the cross-channel ferry port of Ouistreham.

Getting around
The easiest way to visit all the sights in Bayeux is on foot as it is such a compact town. Nothing is more than a 15 minute walk. There is also a small tourist train that runs every 30 minutes or so and stops at all the major sights as well as giving a commentary on the history of Bayeux.
