Proceed South East from Chiang Mai City ( or Airport ) towards Hang Dong. At junction Route 121 and Route 1269 signed for Samoeng turn Right. Follow Route 121 then Route 1269 towards Samoeng. Pass through Ban Pong village and a further 5 kilometres you come to Krisdadoi Resort ( next to a Police Box ). On the opposite side of the road about 100 metres further up the hill on the right is the Gateway to Montantong Village. Once through the gateway proceed along the road over two bridges to the end of the road and opposite the big house is the Chalet.

The total distance from Chiang Mai City Centre to the Chalet is 22.6 Kilometres. With a car or motorbike it takes about 30minutes at most for this particular journey. However, there are many visitor attractions within much closer range of the Chalet e.g. Ratchaproek Royal Park and Ban Tawai Arts and Craft Village.
