In Lipari you can get in several ways: 1) by plane: airports of PALERMO and REGGIO CALABRIA continue directly with hydrofoil to Lipari.

From CATANIA Airport: use the bus servfizio (GIUNTABUS), which connects the airport of Catania to the port of Milazzo (travel time, approximately two hours); the port of Milazzo take ferries (SIREMAR-General Navigation Italian) or hydrofoil (SIREMAR-USTICA LINES).

2) in Lipari arrives twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday) the SIREMAR ferry departing from Naples on Tuesdays and Fridays at 20. Departing from Naples to Palermo with TIRRENIA ferries. 3) you can arrive by train in the above stations for Milazzo or use of hydrofoils coming from Messina and Palermo 4) for those coming by car: take the highway Napoli-Reggio Calabria, exit at Villa San Giovanni (Reggio Calabria) ferry to Messina, take the Messina-Palermo motorway and exit at Milazzo; then embark on a ferry SIREMAR or ITALIAN GENERAL NAVIGATION. .
