Cucuron is around 650 miles from Calais and would be a 10 hour drive mainly on toll motorways. Driving in France is easy and the motorways have frequent and good quality service areas. You can travel via the fast Eurostar service to Aix TGV station which is about 40 mins drive from Le Point. The train takes about six and a half hours from St Pancras and seems to cost from around 130 return per person. The Aix-en-Provence TGV station is about 10 km west of town. Shuttle buses (navettes) provide direct links to Aix-en-Provence center and to Marseille. There are also other buses, taxis and easy access to the A8 autoroute. The nearest airport is Marseille which is about 40 miles from Cucuron. there are frequent trains from the airport to Aix-en-Provence (which takes about half an hour). From there it is about 20 miles by road to Cucuron. You could continue by train from Aix to Pertuis which is about 8 miles from Cucuron and take a taxi from there. There are often bargain flights to Marseille or Nice on EasyJet from Gatwick. They also do inexpensive car hire. The route and cost to travel by public transport from Marseilles to Pertuis is available from the SNCF web site>From Pertuis it is a 20 minutes taxi ride to Cucuron, you will need to ask the taxi to drop you at the clock tower fountain (fontaine de tour d;horloge). There is a limited bus service to the village calling once or twice a day.
