How to get there

DIRECTION TO THE APARTMENT:

From the Airport (27km):

1. Taxi flat rate: 38€ per car (nightly flat rate: 55€)

2. By METRO: Take a Blue metro line M3 from the airport towards Agia Marina station. After 40min. ride get off the train at Syntagma station, then change to the Red metro line M2 toward Anthopoli. After 4 stations get off the train at Larissa Station (Stathmos Larisis). Take exit "Diligainni/Philadelphia". The apartment will be around 100m away across the park/playground. The metro ticket from the airport costs: 10€* for one 90 min ride; or 18€ for group of 2 persons; or 24€ for group of 3 persons; single tourist 3 days ticket (including round trip to the airport) costs 22€.

3. By BUS - Get on the bus X95 (just in front of the terminal, between exits 4 and 5). After about 1 hour ride get off at the last stop on Syntagma square. The bus ticket costs 6€ (50% discount for students with Student ID, people of age 6-18 years old, and people over 65 years old, kids under the age of 6 travel free of charge). The bus runs all day and night - 24/7 with departures every 15 to 25 minutes. On Syntagma square catch a metro - Red metro line M2 toward Anthopoli. After 4 stations get off the train at Larissa Station (Stathmos Larisis). Take exit "Diligainni/Philadelphia". The apartment will be around 100m away across on the opposite side of park/playground. The metro ticket costs 1,40€. 5-days unlimited (bus, metro, tram, train) ticket costs 9€ (not valid from/to the airport). 24h ticket: 4,5€ (not valid from/to the airport).

4. By Suburban Train TRAINOSE (recommended): Take the suburban train from the airport metro station every hour directly to our homestay. After 44 minutes ride get off the train at the Central Railways Station (Stathmos Larisis). The ticket from the airport costs: 10€*

From the Central Railways Station (100m):

The Main Railways Station Larissa is just about 100m from the apartment. From the station cross the street (there is an underground passage through the metro station) and then on the opposite side of park/playground – on the corner of streets Samou and Neofitou Metaxa is located our building. The entrance is from Neofitou Metaxa street, the building number 30 (the first building/entrance on the left side of the street – opposite the school).

From the Ferry Port – Pireous (11km):

Take a suburban train from the metro/railways station Piraeus located across the port. The suburban train runs every hour. After 20-30min ride get off the train to the Central Railways Station Larissa. The ticket cost 1,40€/90min; 4,5€ for 24h ticket, 9€ for 5-days ticket. The Main Railways Station Larissa is just about 100m from the apartment. From the station cross the street and on the opposite side of park/playground – on the corner of streets Samou and Neofitou Metaxa is located the building. The entrance is from Neofitou Metaxa street, the building number 30 (the first building/entrance on the left side of the street – opposite the school).

Getting around

The public bus stop is right in front of the building: bus lines A10 and B10 go to the northern part of Athens, bus B5 takes you to the Eastern part of Athens. Only 80m from the apartment is the nearest metro station - Larissa Station on the Red Metro Line, on which lays the most important attractions and city nodes (Omonia, Syntagma, Acropolis) - the most useful line. Just 100m from the apartment is located the Main Athens Railways station - Larissa station, from where you can take a train to any destination in Greece as well as suburban train to many destinations in the wider city limits and Piraeus port and easy access to all Cyclades islands.
